Age-0 Arctic cods (Boreogadus saida) were collected in 8 regions of the Canadian Arctic between August 5th 2009 and August 28th 2018, onboard CCGS Amundsen using both oblique (Tucker Net) and vertical tows (Monster Net). Onboard, age-0 fish (larvae and juveniles) were sorted from the macrozooplankton sample, identified to the lowest taxonomic level possible, measured fresh (standard length, SL), and preserved in 95% ethanol. The digestive tracts of 339 Arctic cods were dissected under binocular in glycerol and individual prey were identified to the lowest taxonomic level possible and measured. The carbon content of each individual prey was inferred from species-specific length to carbon equations from the primary literature (see Bouchard et al. 2016 for the equations).
